Red Level Receives CORP! Magazine “Michigan’s Economic Bright Spots” Honors

Corp! Magazine, the Warren-based regional business magazine, has recognized Red Level as one of its “Michigan Economic Bright Spots.” The award is bestowed on area businesses whose growth, profitability, and increasing employee head counts mark them as standouts in their fields and sound contributors to their communities.

The “Economic Bright Spot” honor is bestowed on companies of all sizes in virtually all industries, ranging from small family firms to Fortune 500 enterprises. As one of a select few companies chosen by an independent panel of judges from hundreds of nominations, Red Level earns a distinction shared by only a handful of Michigan technology firms.

The distinction is a notable one in the eyes of Red Level CEO David King. “We are not always the first or loudest people to trumpet our own successes, but the fact is that we have maintained a truly impressive growth rate for nearly a decade now,” he says. “We’ve managed to maintain really strong year-on-year growth averaging 20 percent for quite a long time. That translates into more jobs, more economic activity, and more money pumped back into our local economy.

“While growth for growth’s sake may be fine, what’s really important to us is what it means. It indicates that we’re running our business effectively and responsibly, and that the marketplace is recognizing the consistently high quality of our work.”

Red Level received the award at a special honoree breakfast held at Livonia’s VisTaTech Center. Corp! publisher Jennifer Kluge, keynote speaker Rick Segal of Segal Consulting and array of local business leaders were on hand to congratulate the winners.

The Corp! magazine honor follows closely on the heels of Red Level’s recognition by MSPMentor as one of its “MSPMentor 501,” a listing of the world’s top 501 managed services providers. The recent awards continue a long-running winning streak for the Novi-based technology consulting company, whose profile has steadily risen in recent years – partly due to a succession of honors and accolades bestowed by local business and media groups as well as major vendors such as Microsoft.

“It is enormously gratifying to receive this kind of recognition, particularly when we’ve come to receive it fairly consistently,” King says. “We take it as testament to the business practices we follow and the results we generate. As a company, we have always been about delivering outstanding value and helping to drive our clients’ success. In turn, their recognition and appreciation has helped to drive our success.”
