ClearPass Frequently Asked Questions
The COVID ClearPass app from Red Level is designed to help you protect your workforce and protect your business as Michigan’s economy restarts after the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine. It helps you manage employee queuing/waitlisting, contact tracing, real-time communications, and location capacity limits to stay in compliance with the governor’s orders and CDC guidelines.

Any version of a Microsoft 365 license will allow you to install and use most of the features in the ClearPass app – both for users and admins
To enable the convenient push notification features in ClearPass, you will need one premium license for a Microsoft PowerApps administrative user
Users who want to view and share the intuitive dashboards for ClearPass, will need a pro license for Power BI

The pre-registration feature permits authenticated users to reserve a visit to a site. Users have the ability to cancel a reservation made in right in the app. All reservations made that did not have a check-in found on the day of the reservation is deemed as “no show” and automatically deleted after midnight.
ClearPass is installed in your M365 Enviroment and Red Level doesn’t require access to your tenant unless you need support or customizations.
No. Pre-registration feature is limited to only authenticated users, typically company employees. Guests and visitors need to be coordinated the day of the visit as a check-in (Self Declaration form).
All employees and guests are required to complete the Self Declaration form as part of their check-in before they enter the workplace. Once checked in, ClearPass home will update and display a check-out feature that enables authenticated user check-ins recorded (self and guests) to check-out right in the app.
