Hat Trick for Red Level

It's official: Red Level is decidedly cool! Red Level has been named one of Michigan's Cool Places to Work by Crain's Detroit Business for the third year in a row. We put our people and culture at the forefront of our efforts. Our goal is to have our employees invested in our work while working together to proudly represent Red Level’s values. We continually implement new ideas to help cultivate an innovative environment while maintaining our values as we grow, and we make sure we always put our employees first. There are many reasons why Red Level is a "Cool Place" to work. Earlier this year, we were awarded the Michigan Skill Trade Fund which allows us to provide our employees with the training necessary to advance their careers. Employees in every department were able to participate in training and development opportunities. We allow flexible schedules and work from home days for ...

Cool Once, Cool Always? We Hope So.

It was right about this time last year that I mentioned in this space that Crain’s Detroit Business had named Red Level to their “Cool Places To Work In Michigan” list, and we are honored to be chosen again. For the second year in a row, Red Level has been honored with the “Cool Places” designation. It’s an award that means a lot to us – which would not be possible without our amazing and dedicated staff. As you’ve probably noticed, Metropolitan Detroit and Southeast Michigan have become much cooler places to do business in recent times. In contending for “Cool Places” honors, it’s become a lot harder to stand out in the crowd, but that's something we at Red Level love to do. We were up against bike rental startups, maker spaces, venture-funded entrepreneurs and a host of other “cool” businesses that have chosen to make our area their home over the last ...

Eight is Great!

Red Level named as one of "Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For" for eighth consecutive year Not to be arrogant, but we kinda thought this might be coming. For the eighth year in a row, Red Level's been named to the National Association of Business Resources' Detroit's 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For list. That makes us very happy, just as it has for each of the last seven years - even if we aren't completely surprised. In all honesty, any well-run business should have at least some idea as to how well it's performing according to a variety of metrics beyond dollars and cents. To our way of thinking, one of these has to be employee satisfaction. In our view, it simply makes good business sense to make sure that the people you hire enjoy what they do, enjoy where they work, have opportunities ...

YES, WE REALLY ARE THAT COOL!

It’s official: Red Level is decidedly cool. You don’t have to take our word for it. Just ask Crain’s, or the folks at Best Companies Group – they’ll tell you. In fact, they’re telling the world. And we’re not shy, so we’ll announce it too: Red Level has been officially been proclaimed one of the 2017 Cool Places To Work in Michigan by Crain’s Detroit Business. We couldn’t be more pleased. “Cool,” of course, means different things to different people. Depending on your perspective, it could mean having a “Bring your Lhasa-apso to work day,” an indoor lacrosse field, or hot and cold running Red Bull. We’re not cool in that way. But we seem to be cool enough to pass muster with Best Companies Group’s judging team, who got a good hard look at who we are, what we do, and how we do it. It meant peering under ...

The Redmond Channel Partner Top 200: We’ll Feel At Home Here

Most of us are familiar with that special feeling that comes from time to time when you know you’re performing professionally at the top of your game. It’s beyond the sense of simply knowing you’re doing a good job – it’s the sense of hitting a home run, and being confident that you could immediately go out and do it again. That’s how I’m feeling about our Red Level team these days. Some recent news we received from Redmond Channel Partner, Microsoft’s knowledge-sharing site for Microsoft solution providers, is one of the main reasons why. We recently announced that Red Level had been named to Redmond Channel Partner’s “Top 200 Solution Providers” list, an annual index of the top 200 Microsoft solution providers in the USA. It probably sounds like “inside baseball” to anyone outside the IT field, but from our standpoint it’s pretty significant: The listing served as a ...
