Meet The Team – James Graff Edition

Meet the people who make it happen at Red Level for our clients every day.

James Graff is one of our Senior Account Executives. He has been at our headquarters for over 3 years. We asked James a few questions for you to get to know him a little better!

  • What’s your favorite restaurant? 
    I don’t have one specific favorite restaurant, but I do enjoy’ a great filet. Cameron’s, Grey Ghost and Fleming’s are just a few of my favorites.”
  • What’s your favorite pastime?
    “I enjoy both golf and hunting.”
  • Why did you choose to work in IT? 
      “I’m not sure! I went to school for Sales and Business Marketing, and I somehow ended up in IT.” 
  • Favorite sport?
    “It’s hard to choose between football, golf and hockey because I enjoy them all.” 
  • What is your favorite vacation spot?
      “When I was growing up, it was our family cottage on Torch Lake. Outside of the U.S., I would have      to say St. Lucia.”
  • Favorite place in Detroit? 
    “My favorite place in Detroit has to be Little Caesar’s Arena for hockey games. A great night in Detroit is a Red Wings game (where we win!), along with a visit to Founder’s Brewery. 
  • Tell us about a time you helped a client.
    “I helped a customer of ours in the property management industry see the benefits of moving from a Microsoft EA to a CSP pricing model. What was great about it was that I was able to save them money and time, and that freed up resources for other IT investments.”
  • What is your favorite tech? 
    “My favorite is Home Automation technology. One piece of technology I love in particular is the Control4. It’s great to log in from my phone to check on my house and to make the sure the temperature is just right.”
  • Team Alexa, Cortana, Google?  
    “Definitely Amazon Alexa! The Echo is part of our everyday life at the Graff household.
  • What problems do you consistently solve for your clients? 
    “Collaborating effectively with their team to come up with good solutions. I build long-lasting relationships with clients, which allows me to truly collaborate.” 
  • What type of client do you work with the most? 
    “I have the opportunity to work with all types of clients across a wide variety of industries and          company sizes – It’s something I really like about working at Red Level.” 
  • What are the best skills that you bring to your job/company? 
    “I think some of my best attributes are my loyalty and my results-driven working style.” 
  • What was your first job? 
    “I was an account executive at New Horizons Learning Center and a car detailer for Stu Evans              Lincoln- Mercury.
  • Do you have a personal motto? 
    “No, but if I could adopt one, it would be “Be humble. Be hungry. And always be the hardest worker    in the room.”
