Red Level has been chosen to receive the Michigan Works! Impact Award. The company was nominated for the honor by the Oakland County Michigan Works! Chapter in recognition of its success in forming strategic partnerships to upskill and expand the local workforce to meet industry needs better. Michigan Works! is a 30-year-old organization dedicated to providing services and support to Michigan’s workforce development system, the first united organization of its kind in the United States. The annual Impact Awards are bestowed upon companies who have demonstrated a commitment to create jobs and develop talent within their communities. According to the Detroit Free Press, the storms’ 60 mile per hour wind gusts resulted in the single largest weather-caused power outage in Michigan history, with over 1 million Michigan homes going dark – as well as countless businesses.
