The Warren-based business magazine Corp! has selected Red Level as one of its “Michigan Economic Bright Spots” for the second year in a row. The award is given to acknowledge businesses whose growth, profitability, and increasing employee levels distinguish them in their fields and as contributors to their communities.
Corp! honors a wide range of companies in virtually all industries with “Economic Bright Spot” honors, with sizes ranging from small family firms to Fortune 500 enterprises. Corp!’s panel of independent judges reviews hundreds of area businesses’ nominations to identify a select number of standout companies. The award is a distinction shared by a only a small number of Michigan technology firms.
Red Level CEO David King is especially pleased to receive the award for the second year running. “Throughout our thirteen-year history, we’ve been relentlessly focused on delivering solutions that generate success for our clients,” King says. “While we’re certainly eager to succeed ourselves and have done so, we haven’t been inclined to broadcast it. It is great, though, to have that success formally recognized by a respected organization, and to have this benchmark for our own achievement.
“To us, receiving the Economic Bright Spot award means that we’re on target with our strategy for planned, sustained, strategic growth. We’ve grown strongly, but also responsibly and sustainably, in pace with what the wider market needs. That’s helped us to become and remain a solid contributor to the area economy and business environment.”
Red Level is slated to formerly receive the award at a special honoree luncheon to be held at Detroit’s International Banquet Center on June 8. Speakers will include Andrea Riley, CM0 of Ally Financial, and Jed Howbert, Executive Director of Jobs and Development for the City of Detroit Mayor’s office. Corp! Magazine editors and an array of local business leaders will be on hand to present the award and congratulate the winners.
The Corp! Magazine honor continues a lengthy winning streak for Red Level. The Novi technology consultancy’s growing regional profile has gained increasingly widespread recognition from both local organizations and national technology innovators such as Dell and Microsoft, who have conferred significant honors of their own.
“The past year has been an outstanding one for Red Level on any number of levels,” King says. “We have continued to grow in alignment with our plans and expectations, and we’ve recently moved to our new, larger headquarters to continue that growth. We’ve been able to expand our capabilities and provide even better service to our clients. Receiving this award is added gratification for our efforts, and it shows us that we’re doing something right.”
