DETROIT, MI. Nov. 3, 2025 – Red Level Group announced today that it has been acquired by The 20 MSP, a leading managed service provider (MSP) with locations across the country.
Founded in 2004, Red Level has grown from a small local operation into a thriving technology services company with 40 employees and offices in Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids. Over two decades, the company has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable, client-focused IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses across Michigan and beyond.
Red Level has also become a trusted partner to many of the industry’s most respected technology providers, including Microsoft, Cisco, and VMware, receiving three Microsoft Partner of the Year awards and recognitions by CRN on the Tech Elite 250 and MSP 500 lists.
Shortly after joining The 20’s peer group – The 20 MSP Group – Red Level pursued acquisition by the The 20 to more effectively scale services, extend geographic reach, and add crucial expertise around areas like AI and cybersecurity.
“Our experience in the peer group allowed us to really see The 20’s systems and processes in action,” said David King, Red Level’s president and CEO. “That gave us confidence in their service model and commitment to clients. We founded Red Level with the idea of delivering only what our clients truly need, and we found in The 20 a company that shares that same philosophy. We’re excited to continue supporting our clients’ success – now with the resources of a national firm behind us.”
The 20’s founder and CEO, Tim Conkle, also expressed enthusiasm over the deal.
“I’m a huge admirer of the entire Red Level team,” Conkle said. “Their culture is terrific, their expertise is elite, and their dedication to their clients is as strong as I’ve seen in this industry. It’s an honor to welcome them to The 20 family.”
The 20’s M&A activity – over 40 deals in under three years – has garnered ample industry attention, and the company’s emphasis on alignment and platform-wide standardization has positioned it as a leader in scaling acquired businesses efficiently and effectively.
“We gave thoughtful consideration to our next move, and joining The 20 emerged as the clear choice to not only maintain but increase our momentum,” shared King. “This next chapter marks the beginning of Red Level’s most exciting era yet.”
